AGE-WELL Statement on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
AGE-WELL is committed to excellence in research and research training, and to producing research outcomes that are relevant and accessible to diverse populations. The participation of all qualified individuals, inclusive of members of under-represented groups, is essential to mobilize the best research, development and entrepreneurial expertise to create excellent, innovative and high-impact results.
With these goals in mind, AGE-WELL is committed to the implementation of its action plan to operationalize equity, diversity and inclusion practices in all of its programs, including:
- Embedding principles of equity, diversity and inclusion in governance, community engagement, and partnership programs
- Increasing equitable and inclusive participation in our research and training programs
- Promoting the integration of equity, diversity and inclusion-related considerations in research design and practice
