AGE-WELL AgeTech Discovery Day will take place on October 1, 2026, to mark  National Seniors Day, with technology awareness events in nine locations across seven provinces and virtually, focused on AgeTech innovations that support aging in place and healthy aging.

These events will help older adults and caregivers discover innovations that can enhance independence, health and quality of life, while creating opportunities to learn about and participate in research.

In-person events will be held in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Prince Edward Island (details below), along with a national virtual session. All are welcome, and participation is free of charge.

Each event will include:

  • an introduction to AGE-WELL and information on aging in place technologies
  • presentations by local researchers
  • hands-on demonstrations of AgeTech innovations
  • an interactive workshop on getting involved in research.
