The AGE-WELL National Impact Challenge is back! This exciting competition spotlights top entrepreneurs and startups in the technology and aging sector.
We are hosting three virtual events reflecting the broad spectrum of innovation that exists in Canada’s AgeTech sector. Five finalists will pitch at each event, and the winner of each will receive $20,000 in cash, as well as in-kind prizes.

Watch these pitch events via livestream! Each event also includes a lively panel discussion on the future of AgeTech and its impact on areas such as brain health. Registered audience members will have an opportunity to win a Kobo eReader.

AgeTech and Brain Health Panelists: Dr. Garth Smith, VP, Business Development and Partnerships, Ontario Brain Institute; Dr. Lili Liu, Dean, Applied Health Sciences, University of Waterloo; and Jim Mann, member, federal Minister of Health’s Advisory Board on Dementia, Advisory Council of Research Ethics BC, and AGE-WELL’s Research Management Committee. Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2007, Jim now volunteers his time to focus on living as well as possible with dementia.
