Toronto Rehab’s Annual Research Day features a wealth of innovative rehabilitation research. It’s an opportunity for all members of our research community to come together to present their research to colleagues, decision-makers and the public. It is an action-packed day that spotlights extraordinary research in an unusual way. The morning session consists of “Minute Madness” oral presentations, during which presenters are challenged to convey the importance of their work in just one minute. The afternoon session includes poster presentations and interactive displays.
Research Day is also a celebration of student achievement. Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Scholarships in Rehabilitation-related Research for Graduate Students with Disabilities will be presented to recipients. In addition, students from each of our nine research teams will be recognized by their colleagues through our Team Awards. Prizes will also be presented for Best Poster, Best Interactive Display, and best Minute Madness presentation (the People’s Choice Award). Only first-authored abstracts presented by a trainee will be entered into competition.
