AGE-WELL is pleased to introduce the AgeTech Innovation Catalogue, which showcases a selection of innovations from across our network, and helps people and organizations navigate the evolving landscape of Canadian AgeTech.
The catalogue features solutions developed by a number of AGE-WELL-supported startups.
It highlights relevant technologies by summarizing their key features, populations served, development stage, potential or validated impact, and the supports and resources available to aid implementation.
“The AgeTech sector has grown so much and there are many great Canadian solutions, but it can be difficult for long-term care and home care operators to navigate the space and know which solutions could be a fit,” says Michael Chrostowski, Director, Business Development & Partnerships at AGE-WELL, Canada’s technology and aging network.
“For operators delivering care, this catalogue highlights a range of available technologies, what they do, and whether they have validation or a track record. It also provides information on pricing, training and sustainability to support informed decision-making.”
The resource is aimed at long-term care, senior living and home care providers, as well as older adults and caregivers in the community.
It was co-created with senior living operators to ensure it meets their needs and reflects information they require when exploring and adopting new technologies.
A living document, the catalogue will grow as more technologies are added in months ahead.
