AGE-WELL and the Alzheimer Society of Canada are teaming up to support emerging researchers through a funding opportunity for postdoctoral fellows.
The funding partners, AGE-WELL and the Alzheimer Society Research Program, will co-fund up to two postdoctoral fellows over two years.
The candidate’s supervisor must be working within an existing AGE-WELL Workpackage or Crosscutting activity and their project must align with the research program of AGE-WELL.
“This is a great opportunity for our trainees and our investigators,” says Bridgette Murphy, Managing Director of AGE-WELL. “We are pleased to partner with the Alzheimer Society to support postdoctoral fellows in a critical area of research.”
This is the second year that AGE-WELL and the Society have co-offered postdoctoral funding awards. The two organizations have a rich and wide-ranging partnership.
Applications for the 2017 Alzheimer Society/AGE-WELL Postdoctoral Award are due by November 7, 2016.
