Jerome Bickenbach is a Queen’s University Research Chair and Professor of Philosophy in the Faculties of Law and Medicine. He is a permanent Visiting Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Lucerne. He conducts research in disability studies using mixed methods within the paradigm of participatory action research. Since 1995, he has consulted with the World Health Organization (WHO) on the implementation of the ICF.
