Jim Brookes
Jim Brookes is the Chief Development Officer of NeuroDevNet, a national research network in children’s brain disorders. Prior to joining NeuroDevNet, he was the COO of a research network called Mitacs and worked in the telecommunications sector for BC Tel, Stentor and TELUS in a variety of senior positions in Business Development, Marketing and General Management. As Vice-President of Local Services at BC Tel/TELUS, he grew a $2 B Market. Brookes also served as Vice-President of Business Transformation at TELUS. He is Chair of the Board of SERENE, a knowledge mobilization network in Information Security, and previously served on the Boards of the Canada FASD research Network, the GRAND NCE as well as cultural icons in the City of Vancouver, including the Vancouver Symphony and VanDusen Botanical Gardens.
