Justine Jackson

Justine Jackson is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the University Health Network (UHN) and has been with UHN since 1985. Ms. Jackson is responsible for managing UHN’s annual operating budget and was accountable for the Corporate Planning, Decision Support, Finance, Infrastructure, Joint Department of Medicine Imaging and Strategic Developments portfolios. Ms. Jackson received a Bachelor’s of Commerce from the University of Toronto. Her first job was at Ernst & Young as a Staff Accountant, which followed joining UHN in 1984 as an Internal Audit Consultant and later promoted to Financial Manager, Research. Ms. Jackson’s experience at UHN stretches from the financial to the clinical side of operations, where she took on the role as Executive Director of Operations & Controller for Toronto Western Hospital. In this position, Ms. Jackson was responsible for developing and delivering the operating budgets, and accountable for clinical programs. She is a member on several funding reform advisory committees at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as well as the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario.
