Training and Education
AGE-WELL is committed to attracting, developing, and retaining outstanding Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP), including graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, technicians and professionals. AGE-WELL aims to provide a unique training environment based on scientific excellence and real-world applicability that exposes HQP to multidisciplinary research environments within a truly collaborative environment in the area of technology and aging.
The core of our training program revolves around “Knowledge Partnerships” between higher education and industry, service, and public sectors working together towards mutually beneficial results and outcomes. We aim to expose HQP to the full range of economic, social, and ethical implications of AGE-WELL through the development and implementation of funding programs, workshop and seminar series and other events and activities that go above and beyond the typical training environment offered through academia.
