Description: This presentation will share insights about ongoing efforts to strengthen evidence-support systems in Canada that are based on implementation priorities from the Global Commission on Evidence. This will be paired with examples of policy issues (equitable access to assistive technology, tech use in long-term care and the use of remote-monitoring technology to help older adults stay at home) where evidence was used to inform deliberations among citizens and system leaders to identify actions that should be prioritized.
