DESCRIPTION:Including older people from disadvantaged groups in research practice: A compensation series \nDate: February 22\, 2022 at 1:00pm ET \nDescription: Research practice often overlooks larger questions about meaningful participation\, disadvantage\, and vulnerability. One notable example is how standard and historical practices of not-compensating particular groups\, or of restricting compensation as a form of control\, can contribute to inequality and sustain harmful practices against older people from disadvantaged groups. Dr. Grenier will discuss and share a series developed by AGE-WELL’s CC1 team on knowledge mobilization.
