Heather McNeil
Dr. Heather McNeil is a Program Manager at AGE-WELL, where she leads knowledge mobilization efforts and supports initiatives that connect research, innovation, and stakeholder engagement in the AgeTech sector. She holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo, with expertise in health systems research, knowledge mobilization, and user-centered design. Prior to joining AGE-WELL, Heather advised the National Research Council of Canada’s Aging in Place Challenge program, contributing to the development of strategies for inclusive and impactful AgeTech solutions. She is passionate about co-creating with experts by experience to ensure meaningful, real-world impact. In her current role, she is supporting programs, such as envisAGE, that help bring AgeTech innovations to market to improve quality of life for older adults and their caregivers.
