Laura Laird

Laura Laird is the Research Operations Manager at AGE-WELL and provides operational leadership within the Network Management Office with respect to funded research programs and general network operations. Laura acts as the primary AGE-WELL liaison for researchers and their teams related to their awards and is responsible for overall tracking and reporting on network research investments.

Laura received her undergraduate degree from McGill University with a specialty in Psychology of Language and Linguistic Studies. Prior to joining AGE-WELL, Laura worked as a Research Manager at the University of Toronto and Research Coordinator for the Communication Research Team at KITE-UHN. She and has over 20 years’ experience in project management, research operations and clinical research trials. Laura has collaborated on numerous research studies and contributed to over 50 presentations and publications focused on interventions for language impairments post stroke and due to neurodegenerative disorder
