Margaret Polanyi is Senior Communications Manager at AGE-WELL NCE. Margaret is responsible for leading communications initiatives that increase awareness of AGE-WELL activities and accomplishments. With a passion for communicating about research, Margaret has developed and implemented successful communications strategies for charities, hospitals and universities. Most recently, she served as Senior Communications Specialist at Clinical Trials Ontario. Prior to that, Margaret was a research communications consultant for Toronto Rehab. For six years, she managed, edited and wrote the hospital’s annual research report. Margaret has also held positions as Director of Media Relations at Toronto Rehab, and Manager of Communications & Marketing (Research) at the National Office of the Canadian Cancer Society. A former Globe and Mail reporter and Discovery Channel producer, Margaret appreciates good storytelling as a way to engage audiences. She studied English at Queen’s University and journalism at Carleton University.
