Doug Gayton
Doug is a retired artillery officer and a former clinician focusing on assistive technology. He maintains an interest in assistive technology through continuing involvement with Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) and the ISS & ESS conference circuit. He serves as liaison to the Professional Standards Board from the Board of Directors of RESNA, and is an accreditation site visitor for the Committee on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Education (CoA-RATe) under the auspices of Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Doug serves several communities of interest including Vancouver Resource Society which supplies housing in a variety of forms for seniors and BC’s disabled population
