Joyla Furlano

I am a 3rd year PhD Candidate in the Exercise, Mobility and Brain Health Lab at Western University under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Nagamatsu (School of Kinesiology). I completed my BSc Honours at the University of Toronto where I worked with Dr. Jordan Peterson (Psychology). My doctoral research uses MRI to examine the effects of exercise on cognitive and brain health in sedentary overweight older adults.
