I am a PhD student at the University of New Brunswick in the program of Interdiscplinary Studies, working under the supervision of Dr. Rose McCloskey and Dr. Albert Banerjee. My focus will be on aging, health and age-friendly communities. My thesis surrounds a study that is developing a community connector program aimed at improving older adults’ social isolation and loneliness, based on an innovative strategy developed in the UK. The program will be supported by an online knowledge hub to assist current, and future, community connectors.
